Maggi Engineering,  known to most people simply as  Maggi, was established in 1963 for the production of Steff power feed/drive units. In the early days the Steff 32, 34 and 44 were to be found in nearly every workshop, and with the latest generation, including the 2032,2033,2034,2038,2044 and 2048 the reputation and standards set all those years ago continue today, enabling this product to become a world leader.

In the early 1970’s they started to produce Radial Arm Saws, and with models such as the Junior 640, Big 800 and Best 960, they set the highest standards of reliability which continue throughout this product line today.

For the last 18 years, Maggi have produced multi-spindle boring machines, and under the ‘Fortuna’ brand can offer the BF21 and BF321 single head and three head boring machines which can give the accuracy required in any workshop where construction and hardware drilling processes are required. When the drilling process requires a more automated or flexible approach, Maggi have the ‘Evolution’ boring system. This is an NC controlled, throughfeed/return boring system with specifications to suit all drilling requirements.

The latest addition to the Maggi portfolio is a range of edgebanding machines. The ES345 is a throughfeed machine with a 3mm coil material capacity for the smaller workshop, whilst the ‘Galileo’ edging system is a fully automatic processing centre to apply and trim coil material up to 3mm thick to shaped work pieces.
